Another way is to reveal a whole new look, tattoos and all. Nancy Mace just tackled both.
The outgoing South Carolina congresswoman, 48, recently took to YouTube to promote Get Maced, her brand-new channel. And Mace didn’t hold back in going sleeveless in certain shots to reveal fully tatted arms.
Media outlets including TMZ announced her transformation via social media on Sunday, August 16, and users didn’t hold back in sharing their thoughts on the new look — and the politician in general.

Fans have since flooded the post’s comments section with their wide variety of reactions. “Absolutely cringe,” wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, “Her & Kid Rock would make a perfect couple.”
The controversial Republican had revealed in February that she got several tattoos, which provided her “the pain that I need to feel,” per the New York Post. But she kept them virtually covered up in public, until she took to social media in the last week to plug her future plans.
Mace also told Politico she had the ink done to “reclaim” her body and identity. One of her tattoos is the first sentence of one of Virginia Woolf‘s most noted novels: “Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself.”
Mace Has Faced Other Social-Media Backlash
In other Mace news, she sparked backlash last year after posting an image of a male lion on X to symbolize her commitment to advocating for women’s issues, using the lion as a metaphor for strength and protection.
