Instead, the Prince of Wales was reportedly irritated by his brother’s action, not only taking a cold stance toward him but also publicly criticizing him. The latest incident adds to their ongoing rift, suggesting that the two may not reconcile.
Prince William Reportedly Threatened Prince Harry With ‘Consequences’
According to reports from Express UK, sources told the outlet that Prince William is once again furious at Prince Harry. The anger stems from his concern that his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are not growing up knowing his brother’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The sources continued, saying that comments about his children had made him furious, and reportedly issued a warning, saying, “There will be consequences.” The report noted that Chloe Walker, a reporter for News24 Australia, said that the Sussexes are “living on borrowed time.”
She emphasized that once he becomes king, it will be over for the estranged couple. The reporter added, “Prince William will be ruthless to the Sussexes when he takes the throne.” Though she did not elaborate on what she meant, the comments are alarming and could spell trouble for Harry and his wife.
The report emphasized that the rift between the two has reached a “new level” and that their children are continuously drawn into their parents’ dispute. They had hoped that Harry and William would get along well and the tension between them would have “eased a little bit by now.” But that did not happen, particularly on William’s side, with the source emphasizing that “there is no contact.” The insider called their relationship “broken,” which has only intensified since the Sussexes stepped down from their royal duties in 2020.
Adding to the complexity, Robert Lacey, a royal historian, said, “The rift is very profound and very long-lasting.
