Pratt revealed whether he listened to Felton's advice
Did Lox Pratt listen to Tom Felton's advice?
Felton, who originated the role of Draco Malfoy in the original Harry Potter films, revealed in March that he'd gotten in touch with Pratt, 14, who will reimagine the role in the upcoming HBO series.
Among the advice that Felton, 38, gave Pratt was to "steal as many props as you can." During Felton's interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he added that they will "be worth a fortune" down the line.
Pratt took his predecessor's words to heart. “Yeah, I probably can’t reveal how many props I’ve taken," he told Variety.

He also opened up about playing the antagonist. “He’s still very much Draco, but I’m putting my own spin on him,” Pratt said. “He’s definitely got more layers. I’m excited for people to see it because he’s so different to how Draco was in the films."
Before the Harry Potter series debuts, Pratt will be onscreen as Jack in a new Lord of the Flies adaptation on Netflix, and he told the outlet that "baddies are just more fun to play."

“It’s better than being stuck playing the good guy forever," Pratt said, though he did concede that he's hoping to switch things up down the line. “I don’t think I’d take another bad guy role straight after this."

When Felton was interviewed in March, he explained why it was "really important" for him to reach out to Pratt because the upcoming HBO series is going to be a "very different" experience than the original films were.

"We were entering things that don’t exist. There’s quite a lot of weight now," Felton said on Happy Sad Confused. "So the last thing I’m gonna do is offer anything other than say, ‘Here’s my phone number. Here’s my address.’ To his parents, as well as him — and to anyone else there.”
While Felton said that he's "happily taking a step back," he made sure that Pratt knows he's available. "If you do need a word of encouragement or [have] questions to ask, I’m there."
The Harry Potter TV show is slated to premiere on Christmas on HBO.
