The 2025 NWSL postseason continues with a semifinal matchup between Orlando Pride FC and Gotham FC.

No. 8 seed Gotham FC will face off against the No. 3 seed Pride on Sunday, Nov. 16 (3 p.m. ET, ABC) at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando. The winner will meet either the No. 2 seed Washington Spirit or the No. 3 seed Portland Thorns in the championship match on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET at PayPal Park in San Jose, California.

Gotham FC entered the playoffs as the No. 8 seed and faced the No. 1 overall seed Kansas City Current, the NWSL Shield winners, in the quarterfinals. Gotham FC fully embraced the underdog role and pulled off a 2-1 upset to oust Kansas City.

The victory followed a similar script to Gotham's 2023 championship run, where they entered the postseason in the final playoff position before winning the title. (The playoff field expanded from six to eight teams in 2024.) They are one win away from returning to the NWSL championship game for the first time since 2023.

The Pride is also looking to return to the championship game. The defending champions defeated No. 5 seed Seattle Reign FC 2-0 in a quarterfinal win capped off by a stoppage goal by Luana, who finished chemotherapy last month after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2024.
