Nina Dobrev has fans speculating once again over her breakup.
The actress, 36, split from fiancé Shaun White after five years in September, PEOPLE confirmed, and in a TikTok posted on Nov. 13, she drummed up some interest in how she's feeling about it.
In the video, she lip-synced along to Ariana Grande's "Break Free" as she held up a middle finger while the lyrics said, "If you want it, take it. I should've said it before."
As the song played on, and Grande sang, "Tried to hide, fake it," the Vampire Diaries star put her middle finger down and instead held up her ring finger just in time for the "fake it" lyric.

She continued to hold up her ring finger and, smiling, mouthed along as Grande sang, "I can't pretend anymore," before switching back to her middle finger right as the video ended.
She wrote simply "🫶🏻" in the caption of the post, which has over two million likes and more than 14 million views.
In the comments section, many fans pointed out the seeming connection between the sassy lyrics and her recent split from White, 39. "'Tried to fake it' with the ring finger is insane work," one fan wrote.
"Switching from the middle finger to the ring finger is iconic," another commented, while someone else noted, "She's been glowing since that relationship ended."
A source told PEOPLE in September that the breakup — which came less than a year after White proposed — had been a "mutual decision and wasn't an easy one."
Another seemingly pointed TikTok resurfaced days after news of the split. In the clip, Dobrev used a viral sound about trying to "fix a man" while "10 other women" are also trying to, which raised eyebrows amongst fans.

Reporting has since emerged that the couple's split was the result of different visions for their future. One source told PEOPLE that Dobrev is "devastated" by the breakup, which was due to "one reason: she wanted a family and wanted to get married — and he didn't."
Another insider, though, told PEOPLE that both the actress and the athlete "wanted marriage and kids" and that "it wasn't just one-sided."
