Anunoby, now in his second full season with the Knicks, has emerged as a key player on both ends of the court for New York. He's been averaging 15.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He also averages 1.9 steals and 0.7 blocks per game on the defensive side.

Between Anunoby and Brunson, who leads the team with an average of 28 points per game, the Knicks will be without two key scorers for a tough road trip. New York is set to play five straight away games before returning home for an NBA Cup game on Black Friday. One of those games is against the cross-town rival Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 24.

New York is 8-4, a record that puts the Knicks near the top of the Eastern Conference. Of the seven opponents the Knicks will face during Anunoby's expected absence, only the Milwaukee Bucks sit in the top half of the league.
