For the occasion, Kate Middleton, wore a black dress with a white, lace collar, which appears to be a version of a satin black midi dress by one of her go-to designers, Alessandra Rich.

The Princess of Wales accessorized with a dainty, diamond cross necklace and pearl drop earrings, which appear to be Queen Elizabeth II's Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings. The necklace, in particular, has been in her wardrobe for over two decades; she was first spotted wearing it back in 2005. The Princess of Wales completed her outfit with a crimson poppy pin, as all royals wear during the month of November, and a brooch designed by James Porter & Son that features the insignia of HMS Glasgow.

Per Buckingham Palace, "This year's festival will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who fought and lost their lives. Personal stories will bring to light the experiences of those lost in more recent conflicts, connecting the past with the present, with a special focus on the resilience and strength of military children who have faced bereavement."

Kate has attended the Festival of Remembrance event nine times throughout her time as a working royal, including this year's appearance. Tomorrow, Kate and the rest of royal family will step out again for Remembrance Sunday, the national memorial service at The Cenotaph in London; Kate has never missed a Remembrance Sunday.
