The Cure is set for back-to-back performances next year, as the rock band has confirmed another major festival appearance for 2026.

The iconic group, led by frontman Robert Smith, is gearing up for the world's longest-running continuous open-air pop and rock festival.

On Monday, The Cure dropped an Instagram post announcing their participation in Pinkpop Festival 2026.

The annual event will run from June 19 to June 21 and will take place in Landgraaf, the Netherlands.

The "Boys Don't Cry" hitmakers will not just take the stage but will be headlining the show alongside Foo Fighters and Twenty One Pilots.

"THE CURE WILL HEADLINE @PINKPOPFEST NEXT SUMMER. TICKETS ON SALE SAT 29 NOVEMBER 2025 - 11:00CET," the post reads.

Following the announcement, fans are swooning over the band's growing 2026 lineup.

"Awesome, welcome back to Pinkpop," a commenter said.

"Dang, the headlines are on fire," a follower mentioned.

"I can't believe this is happening! The Cure and TØP!!!?? Jeeeezus!" one wrote.

Besides the reactions to the upcoming festivals, fans were also wishing for The Cure to announce a world tour.

"The Cure tour when? Come to BRAZIL!!!" a follower asked.

Besides the three headliners, Pinkpop's lineup also includes Teddy Swims set to perform on June 19, English rock band Editors taking the stage on June 20 and Yungblud closing out the festival on June 21.

The Cure Shows for 2026

From the world's longest-running continuous open-air festival, The Cure will have two European festivals in 2026.

In September, the "Friday I'm In Love" singers announced they would headline Nova Rock 2026 in Nickelsdorf, Austria.

The show, which will take place from June 11 to June 14, will also feature notable bands like Iron Maiden and Bring Me The Horizon as headliners.

In addition to this, the iconic British band will kick off its second European show by headlining Paris' Rock En Seine in August at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud.

Notably, this marks The Cure's return to the Paris Festival seven years after their 2019 performance.

Meanwhile, following their back-to-back shows and headlining numerous festival appearances, they are also gearing up for a new album release.

According to NME in October, the award-winning group has recorded 13 songs for the upcoming album, with Smith revealing that it is "virtually finished."
