Charlotte Flair is reacting to the clothing mishap she experienced during the latest WWE SmackDown!

On Friday, Nov. 7, the 14-time WWE world champion, whose real name is Ashley Fliehr, 39, squared off against Nia Jax at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The show's broadcast went black multiple times as Flair repeatedly suffered a wardrobe malfunction, according to Sport Bible and Cageside Seats.

She was wearing a sparkling, green-and-silver bra top with matching bottoms — plus boots, thigh-high knee pads and arm warmers — when the malfunction occurred.

Flair had to adjust her top several times throughout the episode, according to Cageside Seats. The wrestling outlet reported that while the live broadcast cut out temporarily as she fixed each mishap, a revealing moment still made it on-screen for a split second.

After the accidental slippage made it into the Nov. 7 broadcast, Flair joked that she will be covering up far more in future episodes.

Replying to someone who asked if she had a "wardrobe malfunction," she wrote on X, "I'm going to start wrestling in the robes 🥴."

The WWE star also shared a screenshot of herself from elsewhere during the broadcast.

She followed up the reaction to her wardrobe malfunction with an X post of herself and Alexa Bliss covering their eyes after the Kabuki Warriors disguised themselves as nurses to ambush them. She didn't write a caption to accompany the screenshot.

Earlier this year, Flair caught up with PEOPLE at a WWE Hall of Fame event in Las Vegas, and shared that she hopes to show fans more shades of her real self.

"On the opposite side of WrestleMania, I think I will tap more into that and kind of try to bring me — Ashley, the real person — to Charlotte, because I do feel like Charlotte really isn't, the character I made is not relatable," Flair told PEOPLE at the April event.

The change has nothing to do with a lack of admiration toward her on-screen, championship-winning persona, however.

"If I could be 'Charlotte' in my real life, I would," Flair said at the time. "In reality, if I wasn't here right now, I'd be in sweats watching old episodes of Sex and the City. But no, I feel like at this stage in my career I'd like to pull the curtain back a little bit and show them like, hey I've been this hardcore, dominant b---- for however many years. But I'd like to also be able to high-five the kids as I walk down the aisle."

This summer, Flair said she feels like she's living her "redemption story" post-divorce. The star filed for divorce from ex-husband Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza in June 2024, and a judge finalized their divorce months later, in October, PEOPLE previously confirmed.

"The WWE audience hasn't gotten to see the comeback of Charlotte Flair," she told PEOPLE at Fanatics Fest in June. "This wasn't a Charlotte Flair redemption story, but for me, it is a redemption story."
