A Texas death row inmate accused of murdering his two-year-old daughter has been granted a last-minute hearing in his bid to avoid execution. Robert Roberson III, 57, is set to die by lethal injection on October 17 for killing his daughter at his home in Palestine, East Texas, in 2002. But on Tuesday, a judge announced that he will hear Roberson's motion to vacate his execution warrant on October 15, the Dallas Morning News reports.
