Avatar 3 Title Revealed at D23: Get Ready to Journey Back to Pandora
The third Avatar film will be titled Avatar: Fire and Ash. The sequel, due in theaters Dec. 19, 2025, had its official title revealed Aug. 9 at Disney's D23 fan event held in Anaheim, Calif. "Get ready to journey back to Pandora," read a message on the Avatar Instagram page. Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña star in the films directed by James Cameron. The first of the blockbuster franchise hit theaters back in 2009, followed by the sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, 13 years later in 2022.
